Volunteering at FMCC was a great experience, it was so refreshing to help out at a children's centre that has such good intentions and is so well run. And as the cliche goes I found myself learning even more from the children than they did from me. Wambui and her family were fantastic and the children are delightful, for anyone planning to volunteer I'd suggest allowing yourself an extra few weeks in your schedules... you may just find that you want to stay.
